Disassembly: This is one of the most important moments in the entire restoration process, as it identifies the real state of the vehicle’s parts, detecting items that can be replaced and others that should be treated to be reinstalled, thus maintaining originality and economy. Careful disassembly avoids setbacks and speeds up the process.

Body blasting: This is the process of cleaning the body, in which rust, old paint and residues are removed, leaving the sheet metal fully exposed and ready for repairs to begin. This process can be carried out in different ways, depending on the needs of each part: sandblasting, chemical or abrasive blasting.

Painting: Various materials are used at this stage, each with different functions, application methods and drying times. The process begins with the treatment and protection of the sheet metal, preventing any signs of oxidation, even superficial. Next, the seams of the welded parts are protected with specific materials, putty is applied and extensive sanding is carried out. Then the primer or base coat is applied and finally the paint, which gives the project its color and finish.

With a bare body and new paintwork, this process requires some care, such as applying protection to the floors and moving parts to prevent damage. This stage also includes the final assembly of the electrical and mechanical systems, locks and accessories.
